• From Minneapolis take interstate 35W North towards Duluth.
• 20 miles South of Duluth turn on to highway 33 to Cloquet.
• Following 33 for 19 miles to highway 53.
• Head North on 53 to Virginia and then Orr. 
• At Orr turn right onto 23 and head north to Crane Lake which is at the end of the road.
• It takes about 4.5 hours from the Twin Cities.
